Less swelling and a lighter body

60 min Reduced swelling and body lightness A course of 5–10 sessions

Description

Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle technique of light, stroking movements that helps reduce swelling, move excess fluid and bring back a feeling of lightness. Unlike a classic massage, it is done delicately and without deep pressure.

At Trueman salon in Batumi, lymphatic drainage is chosen for puffiness, heavy legs, or simply to refresh how you feel. The session lasts 60 minutes at a calm, flowing pace. A course of several sessions gives the best result.

This is an aesthetic wellness treatment, not medical care: for pronounced swelling linked to health conditions, consult your doctor first.

How it goes

  1. 1

A talk. The therapist checks your areas of puffiness and general well-being.

  2. 2

Gentle start. The massage begins with light movements in the direction of lymph flow.

  3. 3

Main work. With smooth strokes the therapist supports the outflow of excess fluid.

  4. 4

Calm finish. Closing techniques lock in the feeling of lightness.

  5. 5

Recommendations. The therapist suggests the ideal number of sessions in a course and a drinking routine.

Who it is for

For puffiness and excess fluid retention
For a feeling of lightness and body tone
For heavy, tired legs
As a course for a noticeable, lasting result
For those who want a gentle treatment without deep pressure

Contraindications

  • Fever, a cold or general malaise
  • Acute inflammation, skin damage or skin conditions in the massage area
  • Thrombosis or pronounced varicose veins in the treated area
  • Kidney or heart conditions accompanied by swelling — only after consulting your doctor
  • Cancer without approval from your doctor
  • Pregnancy — only after consulting your doctor and therapist
  • The final list is individual — confirm it during a consultation with the therapist

How to prepare

Come 5–10 minutes before your session so you can change and unwind without rushing. Avoid a massage right after a heavy meal — it is better to eat 1–1.5 hours in advance. Drink some water beforehand and take a shower if you can. If you have injuries, chronic conditions or recent treatments, tell the therapist in advance so they can adjust the technique and intensity for you.

Aftercare

After the session, do not rush to get up — give your body a couple of minutes to rest. Drink more water through the day: it supports the drainage effect. Avoid sauna, steam baths, alcohol and intense exercise. Many notice lightness right after the treatment — for a lasting result it is important to complete a course. Follow the therapist's recommendations.
