Thai Massage

Deep bodywork and assisted stretching

60 min Restored energy and flexibility Once every 1–2 weeks or in a course

100 GEL

Description

Thai massage is deep bodywork combined with passive stretching. The therapist uses pressure and gentle traction to release tension, restore flexibility and boost energy. It is done in loose clothing, usually on a mat.

At Trueman salon in Batumi, Thai massage is chosen when you want more than relaxation — a thorough work-through of the whole body and a feeling of ease in movement. The session lasts 60 minutes; the therapist agrees the intensity and depth of the stretches with you.

This is a wellness treatment, not medical care: for injuries or joint and spine problems, consult your doctor first.

How it goes

  1. 1

A talk. The therapist checks how you feel, your tension areas and a comfortable depth of stretching.

  2. 2

Gentle start. The body is warmed up with pressure and flowing movements.

  3. 3

Work and stretch. The therapist combines pressure with passive traction across the whole body.

  4. 4

Closing. Calm techniques help lock in a feeling of lightness and flexibility.

  5. 5

Recommendations. Advice on maintaining the effect and session frequency.

How to prepare

Come 5–10 minutes before your session. Thai massage is done in loose, comfortable clothing — you can bring your own or check with the therapist. Avoid a massage right after a heavy meal — it is better to eat 1.5–2 hours in advance, as the technique involves a lot of stretching and pressure. If you have injuries or joint and spine problems, be sure to tell the therapist in advance.

Aftercare

After the session, do not rush to get up — give your body a couple of minutes to rest. Drink some water: it helps you recover more gently. For the rest of the day it is best to avoid intense exercise, sauna, steam baths and alcohol. A light, pleasant muscle tiredness after the stretches is possible — that is normal and passes within a day. Listen to how you feel and follow the therapist's recommendations.
