Back Massage

Back Massage

Relief of back tension and pain

60 min Release of back and lower-back tension Once every 1–2 weeks or in a course

100 GEL

Description

A back massage helps relieve tension and pain and relaxes the muscles of the back and lower back. It is one of the most popular treatments — the back is where tension from desk work, stress and physical load builds up most.

At Trueman salon in Batumi, the therapist works the back and lower back, alternating relaxing and deeper techniques to release knots and restore freedom of movement. The session lasts 60 minutes, with intensity chosen individually.

This is a wellness treatment, not medical care: for acute pain, injuries or spine problems, see a doctor first.

How it goes

  1. 1

A talk. The therapist checks tension and pain areas and the intensity you want.

  2. 2

Back warm-up. Gentle movements prepare the back and lower-back muscles for work.

  3. 3

Releasing knots. The therapist eases tension in the tightest areas.

  4. 4

Relaxing finish. Smooth techniques lock in a feeling of freedom in the back.

  5. 5

Recommendations. Advice on facing tension less often and how frequently to repeat the massage.

How to prepare

Come 5–10 minutes before your session so you can change and unwind without rushing. Avoid a massage right after a heavy meal — it is better to eat 1–1.5 hours in advance. Drink some water beforehand and take a shower if you can. If you have injuries, chronic conditions or recent treatments, tell the therapist in advance so they can adjust the technique and intensity for you.

Aftercare

After the massage, do not rush to get up — give your body a couple of minutes to rest. Drink some water: it helps your body recover more gently. For the rest of the day it is best to avoid intense exercise, sauna, steam baths and alcohol. Light relaxation or a pleasant tiredness in the back muscles is normal and passes within a day. Listen to how you feel and follow the therapist's recommendations.
