Toning
Shade, shine and neutralised yellow tones
130–200 GEL
Overview
Toning is a delicate technique that works with the shade rather than a radical colour change. It's a light, semi-transparent pigment that refreshes the colour, cancels unwanted yellow or brassy tones, and gives the hair shine and a finished, groomed look.
Toning is often used as a final touch after lightening or highlights, and to refresh already-coloured hair between full colours. It's gentler than regular dye, as it contains no aggressive components and softly coats the hair.
The colourist chooses the shade to suit your colour and wishes — from neutralising yellow tones in blonde to warm or cool nuances. The price is from 130 to 200 GEL depending on length and hair density.
How it works
- 1
Diagnosis: the colourist assesses your current shade and the condition of your hair and determines which undertone needs to be enhanced or neutralised.
- 2
Choosing the tone: we agree on the result you want — refresh the colour, remove yellow tones or add a soft nuance.
- 3
Applying the toning formula along the lengths, timing it for the right intensity of shade.
- 4
Rinsing and washing the hair with care products.
- 5
Final care and styling to highlight the fresh shade and the shine of the hair.
Who it's for
Aftercare for coloured hair
Toning holds less firmly than permanent dye and gradually washes out, so gentle care helps to make it last. Use shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair, and wash your hair not too often and not too hot. For cool shades and blonde, maintain the tone with a toning shampoo.
By the sea in Batumi, protect your hair from sun and salt water — they speed up the fading of the shade. Wear a hat at the beach, rinse your hair with fresh water after swimming, and use products with UV protection.
